Hello, how are you guys?I have this Rolex it belonged to my father. I think he get it in the late 80´s or 90-92.
My father had other Rolex and he told me that this one had odd things. So maybe it was a good fake. The bezel and crown works well.
I don´t know a lot of Rolex. but i find odd that the Watch bezel looks from a Submariner and the dial says GMT.
Sorry i don´t have the tool to open it.
I appreciate your help.

Best Regards.

@Amilcar - just so you know why everyone is pulling a face: a GMT is a watch designed to show multiple time zones. It will have a fourth hand which shows the time in a second zone in 24 hour format and (certainly in the case of the GMT) a rotating bezel with 24 divisions that allows the wearer to track a third zone. After that, it's a question of quality. Movement, case, fit and finish, materials and so on. A real Rolex is full of detail that afficionados love to see. All the details that you would see on a Rolex are missing from yours ... everything from the length of the hands, the print, the dial ,the rehaut ... literally every part of that watch is wrong.

Now, I know some people who own fake Rolex just so they don't have to wear the real ones they own in some places ... go hunting and find your Dad's real one. 😉

As others have said, unfortunately it's a cheap fake.

Taint no Rolex! Perhaps a better title might be the “Help with the Authenticity of this item.” I wonder if he actually had any real Rolex watches? Never met a Rolex owner that would keep a bogus one around.

i like how the "gold" washes off the bracelet! 😉 Let me put it in friendly words: Out of all the Rolex fakes i've ever seen, this might be the one with the most "artistic freedom". The faker is either blind, has a great amount of humor or is VERY creative.....🤦

Don't feel bad @Amilcar , this happens A LOT! If you're not a watch nerd its not easy to know what's real and what's fake. I personally have been asked 3 times by friends, associates to please tell them more about a watch they inherited from a close family member, only to sadly inform them their beloved memento is not authentic. We actually have a running joke about "Uncle's watches" always being fake.
