Hi, can anyone help me to identify with this wristwatch?
It's an Omega Quartz Cal 1342.
I want to find out what the bracelet inserts and the rope pattern bezel are made of.
Would they be brass or did Omega always use gold?
Thanks for any help you can give me. RAY10015.JPG

You have the watch. You can find out if the case and bracelet are of precious metal alloy. The information regarding the case will be stamped inside the case back. Have someone open it, and transcribe what you see. If the bracelet is precious metal alloy, it should be marked on the clasp. The picture shows a two-tone watch and bracelet. I will go out on a limb and state that the case and bracelet are stainless steel, with gold filled or gold plated accents.

I'll try what you suggest. I think you will be right.
