    Its steel and there is a mirror inside and the glass is triangle shaped.

    Looks like a stamp, and the embossed plate that had the graphic is gone.

    My best guess is a very early refractor possibly a early refractometer? For testing sugar % in jam etc. The glass would be used to see how far the light bends through the glass with jam for example on one side of it. But I could be a million miles away

    Ok so DRGM is just like a German copyright that protected a design for three years. DRGM started being used in 1891 and ended 1952 so the number underneath if you can find a copyright list will tell you what tool this copyright protected. If the list still exists and someone has put it online
