Hi folks! Im new here and someone kindly recommended I join the group on FB. I need some guidance and advice before pulling the trigger on this CAL.552 .REF.165024 from 1966. Seller is asking 6300USD. Pictures are not great but it’s the only ones I have. Feel free to share your thoughts! Thanks!
Look at what some dealers are charging for the same ref: https://www.hqmilton.com/timepieces....024-with-extract-of-the-archives-papers-9717 Do a search on the reference 165.024 and look around at the prices they are starting at, and you'll get Watchknut's brief but imo apt response.
It's a no brainer buy. Do it quickly before the seller realizes he's leaving coupla grand on the table...
Any one notice the end links? Not sure it’s original! Watch serial number starts with 24 which dates to watch to 1966. Strap is 1039/516 which dates it to 1968-1971 Would this be reason for concern or a drawback?
Yes, major drawback... Give me the seller's contact info and I will discuss it with him/her personally... Seriously dude, it's all good. Buy it already! I'm getting anxiety already as if I were the buyer...
Yeah, about as much as a shoulder zit on a chick that is a 9...would never in a million years toss her out of bed.
Does it come with the box in the background in the first pic? I see another watch in that pic. You should be asking what else he has.
