Caliber 550? Did you try Googling that?
yes i did and noticed they were more recent watched, only just seen that it’s an automatic movement…do you think it’s a 26.5 or something?

Under the hairspring you can see 26.5SOB, which I think implies it's a 26.5 SOB T2, but I may be wrong. Though according to ranfft.de, that's the only 26.5 that was made in the years associated with the watch's serial number. As far as originality, I can't say, but it looks mostly okay. The subsecond register is printed off-center to the right a little, but that could just be a product of quality control at that time.

I don't see anything inherently wrong with the originality of the dial. Obviously there is some lume loss which is never great when it is radium. The crown looks like a replacement but not too bad of a fit. I could be wrong on that however.

So you will be into it for circa £500 minimum? I think at that price there is nicer stuff out there to be honest.

The dial (right side) is a deal-breaker (for me). : Ask yourself :would I wear this watch (daily)?
