Help with a Mark II serial number

I have found a mark II racing wit a serial number
R 38XXX
Some one can tell me what is it ?
The 861 caliber seem ok, is the later version, after 1971, with a derlin brake.
The serial number I do not understand
Probably a stupid question

It’s means it’s had a replacement movement. It will affect the value as it’s no longer fully original.
