Hey All,

This one came across my radar recently. So many of these black-dialed SMs are redials, and I know that, at least on the DeVille model, the cross-hair almost invariably indicates a redial. Trying to get better pics now, but appreciate any initial thoughts on this one!

I would say redial. I dont like the font, the numerals and the thickness of the crosshairs. Well, I dont like the total appearance of the dial.

166.020, perhaps? Redialed and hour markers have been relumed - they left the hands alone though 😉

Well the obvious one, is it automatic or manual (as there’s no automatic on the dial).

It doesn’t look right though, particularly the Seamaster script and the crosshair on these is meant to intersect through the M not the a.

Hmm, definitely not the original lume dots, and I am a bit suspicious of the crosshair as well. The "Seamaster" script looks right in style and position. Concern also about the lack of "automatic."
