I am new to this forum. I have been collecting vintage watches for 2 years, mainly omegas.

Can anybody please tell menabout this ebay offer:
What is the referencence?
Is the dial original?
Are the hands original?

Serial number on the movement dates back to 1939-40, what's the diameter of the case? Anyway reference could be an early 2181 but dial looks repainted to me and hands wrong.

Impossible because this watch is far too small - 2181 is much larger!

Thanks for your help. I estimate it to be around 32mm. Why do you think it is a redial?

That case is seen on British military watches, 6B/159 and HS8, and the movement serial number would be in range for that too. So, it could be a former military watch disposed of through surplus with a replacement dial. Hands are not very pleasant. Is there anything on the outside of the case back?
