Help with 1974 Geneve

I have a question I would appreciate the community's help with. I purchased a 1974 Omega Geneve 16601.18 off EBAY a couple of years ago when I was first getting into mechanical watches.
My question: Why doesn't the dial have Geneve above the 6 like other similar year/ reference Geneve? Is this something to be concerned about? Redial?

Based on my research the 1480 movement aligns with reference. Looking at the tritium lume it does show yellowing and when hit with light only lumes up faintly for about 5 seconds, telling me it is age appropriate. I did have the movement serviced and the watchmaker didn't see any red flags. Searching the web for hours I did come across a pic of another watch like mine in Google images but couldn't find any information outside of that.
Thanks for any help or information you can share.

Hi,

here is another one sold on OF also without "Geneve"

https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-automatic-cal-1480-166-0118.46891/ (I also found other ones)

You shouldn't be concerned at all, your watch looks legit. Omega was not always consistent with its models

The fact that it was sold 1974 doesn't mean that it was produced in that year, you should use the serial number. 33mill indicates 1971 and not 1974

BTW, if you search for the referencenumber you should use 166.0118 (instead of 16601.18)

Hope that helps!
