Dan: you guys spot redials immediately. I’m trying to learn. The subdial doesn’t appear off center to me, but the lack of patina and numbers on the subdial seem odd. I’m learning that if it seems off, it probably is... so yeah, the subdial has been reworked.
Is there anything on the larger dial that jumps out at you?

I can only spot a redial immediately if it's bad. In this case, I immediately saw that the LONGINES printing was wrong. Bad font, sloppy printing, off-center, irregular spacing. That was enough for me. But yes, the subdial is also bad. The subdial printing should fill most of the recess, and it should obviously be centered in the recess. Instead, the printed seconds markers are against the edge of the recess in the 50-seconds range, but there is a big gap around the 20-seconds marker. The printing in the sub-dial is also very sloppy and uneven, at least compared to a factory job.

Not Dan but the word "LONGINES" Is placed too high on the dial. Think about "golden mean" and how that might apply to the placement of that piece of printing.

Also it would be unusual to reprint the sub seconds track, which is also not centered properly, without redoing the entire dial.

I found my watch... definitely want to do a redial now!

Unfortunately, the quality of re-dials seems to be very uneven, even when done by the same shop. All you can do is send it off and hope for the best.

...and make sure you see a picture of what they're going to do before you approve it.
