·Hello all,
I am looking into buying a vintage Seamaster dating to sometime 1950 - 1970. I have come across this piece which is selling for around $720 (fully serviced by the seller who is a watchmaker from Japan). The piece is running strong at less than +5 secs/day. Please help me identify what is odd in the watch. I am not sure if the dial seems okay with no minute markers. The hands on Seamasters using the cal. 285 also seem to come in different shapes (pencil, dauphine). I am also not sure if the hour markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12 can look the same.
I would be glad if you guys can help me.
