Help pricing vintage Omega constellation

Hey all,

Was hoping to get advice on appropriately pricing a vintage Omega Constellation (ref.168.016) for sale. Been following a few eBay listings for quite some time but none have actually sold at their asking. I've attached a few images as a reference for condition, the watch still runs with all functions operational. Not sure on accuracy etc., but I know this hasn't been used in at least a decade (was part of my grandad's collection that was left for me).

Appreciate any and all thoughts you can share.

TIA!

Happen to be wearing mine from my Dad from 1968. Solid workhorse watch have it serviced by independent Omega watchmaker and wear it for years. These go for less than other Constellations maybe they are plainer.

I almost hate to see these sold. They don't get you rich, and man do they look good. Great wearers.

Agree and the OP watch looks very good, slightly different dial texture and blockier indices. I wear mine regularly

Any idea what is up with that black one? The other three are all within a little bit of what I'd expect these to go for (~$500-700), but the black dial one is shockingly priced!

Based on the pricing of all the non-sold ones though, I'm completely unsurprised OP hasn't seen one go sold lately.

They are a good looking watch though. Had my grandfather left me one, I'd have it serviced and wear it, though maybe he wasn't OP's favorite granddad 😀

The black one just says the listing was ended. I think they took an undisclosed offer.

Haha not at all, loved the man. He was a collector himself and brought me into the hobby. Left me quite a few pieces and as far as those that were important to him, this constellation was towards the bottom of the list. Figured I might try to move this on and try get my hands on the 168. ref. pie-pans as those have been on my mind for some time
