Hi all

I am hoping someone can assist please. I have fairly recently acquired a vintage Omega cal 30 SCT2. See photos. This belonged to a family member who has passed, but I am unsure how long it has been in the family.

I have confirmed the caliber from the marking below the balance and used an online site to search the serial number which indicated it as a 1944 build. I thought it may be a military watch but have not been able to find another dial like this. Can anyone please assist with model reference or any information? I am fairly new to the Omega world, but not vintage watches in general.

Also, I suspect this is a radium dial. What is the consensus?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I assumed it was a combination of moisture and many years which had faded it. Didn’t occur to me it was repainted. Thanks

Dial is badly repainted. I agree.

Therefore it might not be Radium. I think it could be an early redial with radium.

Any hints on how to confirm the reference? The only markings inside the caseback appear to be 5B.

On the outside of the case back is inscribed the number 10169837. If I had to guess it doesn’t look factory. Could that be a military number?

Thanks again.
