Help Please - Identify Ladies Omega Watch

Hello,

I wondered if you could help? I've been going through my late father's possessions and found a watch that belonged to his mother. She passed away in the 1980s but apart from that, I have no idea how to date it or find out the model. It's a small gold watch that I believe is 18 karat and from the font on the numbers, looks like it could be from the 1950s/60s?

If you have any idea what model it is and what it would be worth, I would very much appreciate it. Please see photos added.

Many Thanks.

It is a fake watch. It is worth barely nothing and there is no 18k gold imo. Sorry.

Sorry it’s not gold and worth sentimental value only.

Well known vintage fake. Telling is Omega markings on the outside of the caseback.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this is not a real Omega watch.

It is not likely to be gold either.

I would suggest you read this article for more information about your watch and others like it:

https://books.google.com/books?id=fQEAAAAAMBAJ&pg=PA54&lpg=PA54&dq=popular science counterfeit watch&source=bl&ots=JTPLWoAFSg&sig=cVul1eDwCSYxCgbohU4cBYKrd7U&hl=en#v=onepage&q=popular science counterfeit watch&f=false

Oh ok, Thanks. Is there something specific that tells them apart from the real thing?

See the sidebar to the article on the third page, there is a section specific to Omega there.

Hope this helps,
