Help! Opinions on a 70's TV Seamaster

Hi OF. Looking to buy my first vintage Omega so thought I'd get some second opinions here.
I'm willing to live with the dings on the case.
My question is about the condition of the movement. The seller claimed it was recently serviced and running very well. Should I be worried about the rust speckles? Any other thoughts/ opinions would be greatly appreciated. It's listed at just over $600.

Not a bad looker but you might have to factor in a couple hundred for a service if it's overdue. I do think the price might be on the high side given the overall condition.

Edit: I skipped over the part where you said the seller claims it was recently serviced. Maybe see if there's a guarantee to go along with that or at least paperwork on the service?

Rust speckles are never a positive thing with watches.

Hard to say if those spots are insignificant or signs of a movement that’s been exposed to moisture.

If seller says it’s been serviced, then ask to see paperwork. If there no paperwork, I’d probably pass. I’d rather pay more for a nicer example (from what I can tell). The case has a couple of good dings.

Nice case, @janice&fred . But hey, that Blue dial! That’s what makes the watch, to me at least.

Where’s the movement shot so we can the two compare? 😉

I'm not prying open the watch but it runs fantastic and is unpolished since new. For $375 someone could afford to have it serviced someday down the road if needed. That bracelet on the blue one is about to break apart at the clasp. Seen that rust problem on those bracelets many times in the deep tropics.

OP, note that this is an integrated bracelet, you can’t just toss on a leather strap if the bracelet isn’t good, or long enough

Killer blue dial, but every other aspect is ordinary, so seems overpriced to me.

Thanks for all of the responses. Yes the blue dial is the only reason I'm considering it for the price. Can't seem to find them very often. I'm tempted but might just wait for a better one to come around!

It's a shame about the condition issues because that is a very attractive dial and design IMHO.
