Hello to everyone on this forum. I was wondering if someone could give me some details on the authenticity on this Omega watch. My dad says that it belong to my grandfather. I do not know much about watches and all the detail that I can give you is that it says "seamaster" under the omega title. It also says antimagnetic. On the back it says 18k 0.750, Swiss made. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry, counterfeit.

I see several of these on eBay every week, this is one of the most common 1960s counterfeits made.

The dead giveaway is the Omega and 18K 0.750 marking on the outside of the case back, these markings would be on the inside of a genuine watch. Additionally the design of the case and dial do not represent anything made by Omega and no Seamaster I am aware of was ever marked ANTIMAGNETIC on the dial.

Yep, never saw ANTIMAGNETIC on any authentic vintage Omega, and if the gold marks are on the outside of the caseback it's a fake. Might not even be real gold so have it checked.
