Help on a weird 1450022 Broad Arrow

Hi everybody, I found this one, but I don't know what to say, after the movement serial it seems it's from 1974. The case back is clearly marked 1450022, the caliber is 861. I didn't find any other online with broad arrow hands on the same reference and year. Is it good, or a franken, or...?! Thanks for your help!

late 80’s case back

Modern dial, hands, and bezel

movement is early 861 but the baseplate is not stamped 861… is that the lemania caliber number?

metal brake suggests earlier then 74 as well.

The movement is stamped 861 below the balance, please see the picture. I've seen others with the same case, dial and bezel from the 70s, but not with broad arrows.

that dial and bezel is not from the 70’s

the dial is a domed applied metal logo high S dial with no T’s. Non tritium, luminova dial. Luminova was not used untill 1999.

It’s from the modern broad arrow reissue.same as hands and bezel.

There where no silver colored bezels in the 70’s and 80’s.

Not really.

odds are this was a trashed 145.022-71 with a bad dial and bezel and it was replaced with direct swap modern parts as the reissue post 2000 used an 861 and a straight lug case.

The case back was also swapped with a parts caseback as I’m going to bet it lost an early pre moon caseback that was more valueable then the rest of the watch.

Correct…it’s a frankenwatch. Either someone took a 3594.50 and replaced the original 1861 with an 861, or they cobbled it together from a bunch of parts. The photos posted make it difficult to determine what it is exactly. However, if there is no serial # on one of the lugs and the case back is not plain with only a stamped hippocampus logo then it is the latter.

Yeah someone just used the parts they had on hand to create a Broad Arrow. Nothing wrong with it, it is what it is, but value is no more than the sum of its parts.
