Could this really be a 1965 165.024? It just looks to be in suspiciously good condition. What do you all think? http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=441972
+1 Definitely not worth it... even for half the price I would not go for it mainly because i don't find anything appealing may be except the caseback... which is definitely not the thing you will see the most
Wrong hands but nice patina. $ 5000 is not a crazy price : vintage seamaster 300's are getting more and more expensive...
+1 .... that's the handset from the 166.073 ~ Deep Blue. Not the worst example all in all, but still.... Correct one here
$5000, and sold! When I saw that thread last night, I could not believe my eyes. Is watch market going crazy these years?!
Hopefully a sign that a little rationality is due. The prices seem to have gone nuts, can't even pick up a nice 90's Tudor sub for a reasonable price currently. It seems that as soon as I start developing a liking for something I find that there has been a recent spike in prices. Aah the universe, how it conspires.
