Hi, this piece will be at an upcoming auction near me. I will try to go and have look at it before the auction, but it seems to be in a rather good condition. I'ts a crappy picture but can someone have suggestion what movement it might have. I guess it is from the late 50's och early 60's. It would be nice if the crown fell off many years ago and it has been lying in a drawer ever since.

Looks like a decent watch with a Cal. 26X (30mm family at least) inside.

But be careful - a watch without crown is vulnerable against water / moisture ingression.
Do not bid/buy if you have not seen the movement before!

Thanks for info and advice. I'll try and have a look at it.

Good luck with the auction!
Erich's comments are exactly right but I would add that most of these movements are common and a replacement could be found.
The case appears very nice and it's hard to tell from the picture but the dial and hands may be good also.
Do all the scratches appear to be on the crystal?
As is, with no further info, I'd probably stop at a $100 or so. With a good movement shot, good dial, correct numbers, etc., I'd go $250ish and then plan on another $250ish for crown, crystal and service.
Is it worth it?
Depends on how much you like the watch but it could end up being a lot of work for a common example.
Bid $75 for me, will you?

It might be worth it to me, if the dial, hand e t c, are in good condition. I've been thinking about a sub second and I like those markers. As for the price - well, I'm located in Sweden and the starting bid is SEK 1 000, at current exchange rate a little more than $100.
