I have a couple of questions about this vintage Geneve that I'm considering to buy. I hope someone with more knowlegde could help with these 😀

- Are the hands correct for this watch? I'm not familiar with this model but rose gold hands seem a bit odd so just double checking.
- Any chance the spots on the dial could be cleaned?
- The seller is asking 389€, is the price okay?
- Any red flags in general?

I don't believe those hands should be on that watch. However the dial looks original, the case is good, the crown is right and to me 389 euros seems like a pretty good price even allowing for replacement of the hands. My only reservation is that I don't know how difficult it is to find steel hands for this model. And you cannot clean the dial, you would have to live with those spots.

There were variants with steel cases and rose gold hands, but they had rose gold indices to match. The price seems fair and reflects the dial damage, replacement hands aren't that hard to find with a bit of patience on eBay.

Definitely incorrect hands. The price would be attractive if you confident that you could find the correct replacements hands.

You could also have the hands rhodium plated, probably easier than finding replacements.
