Hello fellow members of OF. Wishing everyone is safe and healthy as this crazy year is now coming to a close.

I come today with another request for information.

After stumbled upon this website,

http://www.ofrei.com/page700.html

It occured to me it would be great to source an original crown for my beloved Rosegold Bumper, which has a generic replacement.

I however have no idea which of these would be the correct one for my watch. It's reference number 2438. I have not been able to identify the CK case reference though.

My watch:

I have seen different watches (some being Connies) from the same era with similar cases. The first one is identical, but I am not sure on the crown on this one either.

These are taken from other threads and members. Hopefully this is ok!

Thanks in advance guys.

Crown on my 2943 is for Seamaster. My WM couldn't source original one.

Correct shape is style like 8100/1060P.

Thank you for the info! It resembles a Connie crown for piepan dials to me.

Based on this listing in the Jules Borel database, the Ref. 2438 has several crowns that will fit, one of which is included in your picture from Ofrei.

Case parts listing:

Steel crown 8100-1019:

The reason that there are several choices may be that some of the older versions have long been discontinued while the 8100-1019 might still be available.

Hope this helps,

I have not been able to identify the CK case reference though.

Just for reference, CK means "stainless steel". Not sure of OJ or OT is used for rose gold as well as yellow gold.

Thanks guys for the taking the time and answering. The info is very much appreciated. Will look into it and eventually update with new crown. 👍
