    Hi everyone,

I am not normally a military watch guy but have been curious about picking one up. I told myself if one comes up locally for a decent price I’ll go for it. That time seems to be now...

A guy is selling what he claims to be an original 1969 W-113 vintage military Hamilton watch.

I asked about its originality and he said he’s “honestly not sure” but acquired it from another collector.

I am concerned about a redial or non original hands/crown... they seem to stand out to me.

Hoping the brains trust can share some further insights to help with my “potential” purchase.

Note - asking price is approx USD $425

    Thanks.

Just quietly turn around and walk away.

Then spend 3 months researching one of the most faked military watches on the planet.

When you know what you're doing, start looking for a nice example.

Agree totally, that example is about as genuine as a £12 note.
