I recently purchased a 'Pontiac 3 Star Memomatic' at auction after falling in love with it. I'm now wondering what the actual value of a watch like this is and I'm struggling to value it myself. The watches specifications are: Brand: Pontiac Model: Memomatic Year: 1975 Movement: Automatic ETA 2783 (21 jewels) Case: Gold-Plated Case Back: Steel Strap: Non-original, high quality soft leather Measurements are 33 x 36 x 8mm without crown And the watch has been serviced recently and runs perfectly, came with no box or papers. Many thanks, Robert.
Price at auction would generally be considered to be the value. Even if you over-paid, the last bid before yours would be a pretty fair valuation since someone else was willing to pay that.
Thanks . With shipping it came to a little over £120, I wondered if I could've found a equally good lower price one else where
You can't get a nice night in a hotel in London for that. I don't know the brand and not many for sale out there so no idea on what you can get for it, but a nice watch for less than a night on the town sounds like a good deal to me!
