Hi to all vintage watches and Jaeger-Lecoultre Aficionados I have a 1960s Memovox E855 stainless steel. I am looking for 2 X JLC stainless steel JlC crowns. What are my best options to look for and find these crowns? Peire06
Zaf Basha is incredibly knowledgeable about Jaeger-LeCoultre. He runs Classic Watch where he sells vintage watches, services vintage watches, and hosts a forum specifically about Lecoultre. He's written a book for collectors documenting key JLC models. Zaf Basha is a huge resource for anyone interested in JLC.
Just wrote to him. This was his response: "I only have some mechanical parts. No hands, no crowns, cases, dials, etc." Looks like he won't be helpful for my crowns.
You may want to post a WTB on this and other forums, I'm sure with some patience you'll be able to track them down.
Funny you mentioned that. I actually posted on a forum in France and just found 2 brand new crowns from 1960s. Today was my lucky day. Looking for full set of hands now (dauphine). Hopefully I can find them soon.
I am now looking for the same - 2 steel crowns for ref 855. Have posted WTB elsewhere as recommended.

I know. I bought the 1 they had. Need to find another and worried that I might need 2 as unlikely another will be a match.
