sorry I m not very skilled but would be extremely thankful for any advice which free picture hosting service would work for chronotrader? I did use picload.org in the past - but it seems not to be accepted from ct any more. photo bucket want to charge me 5.-$ a month for hosting :-(

Chronotrader says, that URL of an image must start with http:// and end with an image file extension like .gif, .jpg, .jpeg or any other common Interent image format. For example, http://mydomain.com/images/photo.jpg.

I did not find a free service with these preconditions - can you help?
Thank you in advance for any answers!

Imgur.com always seemed easy to use, just make sure you set your privacy settings to what you need.

yes I tried but it created links like: https://imgur.com/a/mnMiAgL
This link does not start with: http:// and does not end with jpg.
So I m unfortunatly not able to make my picture visible inside the ad - I can just post the link - thats my problem....

Tried Photobucket? I seem to recall that had posting / linking options.

There is an option to link as a jpeg, it's on the right of screen after you load the photo (not at a computer to check but I think it's the option called "direct link" ). The https might be a problem, but could be cured as simply as removing the S from the link. I'll have a look later regardless.

OK, here you go. Copy the "direct link" from your Imgur hosted image, paste the link and remove the "s" from https ....
