I'm getting the itch to own a Navitimer 806, but am still learning about the rights and wrongs so I would really appreciate your thoughts on this one please:

I do like the all black dial of the AOPA ones.

Stay away from that watch.

The notched bezel and case (and serial number) belong with a panda dial Navitimer. The hands also belong with a panda dial (the small hands have been painted white). Below is the correct dial And hands for that case.



A black dial 806 is earlier (until 1963) and should have a beaded bezel and earlier hands, like so:
