I have a chance to pick up my dream watch . The seamaster 300m quartz james bond style but it is the 36mm. I have an 8 inch wrist but also hate real big watches. price is 910 USA.
    What should i do.?
I currently wear this style of watches which I think are 35mm RailRoad 009.jpg 419qhR0aYwL._SY355_.jpg

36mm on an 8 inch wrist?

I have a 6.5 inch wrist and I find 36mm medium size, so an 8 inch wrist like yours should have no problem at all.

The price is also very good, but I would enquire on last service date and etc as you may be stung with servicing fees should it decide to not work on you the next day.

    Also pictures would really help.

Very nice watch, judging by the lume it isn't one of those vintage seamasters I've seen with the tropical dials.

Bracelet is in great condition, bezel has a slight scratch or two but nothing out the ordinary. Overall it's a nice watch, worth the price.

Does it come with papers and warranty card?

First thing I noticed was that giant scratch by the 12 o' clock. I hope you can have that repaired somehow if it bothers you. Otherwise bezel is in great condition minus a slight nick or two.

Also are the hands supposed to have that touch of red? Or is that corrosion?

Honestly though at 750 it's a good price if everything is working, these watches can take quite a beating so I wouldn't be surprised if it was still running perfectly.

If the hands are rusted or corroded then they'll need replacing, which shouldn't be too expensive at all.

Anyway it's a good acquisition, wear it well and enjoy!

Good enough for a future British King, good enough for everyone.

Yes, mid size quartz wave dial with skeleton hands. He even wore it to his wedding. It’s been said it was a gift from his Mom. He still wears it today.

Not sure if his has the red Seamaster text or not. I’m guessing no.

Please note your watch is no longer waterproof. Please have it checked before swimming

8" wrist and a 36mm sounds on the small side to me, but it's only my opinion and you should buy whatever you feel is best for you.

This is all personal preferences. You might as well ask us if we think you'll like broccoli. I also have 8 inch wrists and have (and wear) a couple of watches that are only 28mm.

You need to try the watch on.

The thing that cracks me is that really 36mm wasn't considered small 20 years ago . Most watches men wore were in thus range. now most are afriad to wear this size . I also wear a small Cartier tank solo.

I understand, it's because the demand for bigger, bolder and 'manly' watches has increased, necessitating this shift. I'm looking to wear a 42mm watch on my 6.5" wrist, a little large but hopefully it'll work out.
