My apologies for hijacking dmgreen11‘s thread on a shucktheoyster’s Omega. The thread quickly got down to brass tacks and the consensus was that Oyster’s reputation was, well, you’ll have to read it here: https://omegaforums.net/attachments/omega-23-4-jpg.1309427/.

Anyway, I went to Oyster’s site and am completely taken by this Longines. I’m not really in a position to buy today, especially at his price, but I was wondering what your opinions are. I’m a total newb, esp. w Longines, and the seller seems to have some serious credibility issues. But, here it is:

And here are my observations:

His watches look amazing at first glance, and I’m not skilled enough to spot all the flaws. This one caught my eye; what’s the verdict? I’m just window shopping for now…
Thoughts:
1. Case overpolished, no sharp edges, looks like a bar of soap?
2. The whole watch looks to good to be true, ie, “restored?”
3. It doesn’t appear to be repainted, the dial detail looks good and the applied logo is v nice.
4. The bezel looks great.

Am I missing something?

You don't even get a paperclip, that's a specialty of a different "oyster"
