Hello everyone. Recently purchased this omega pictured below. I am no expert on watches but through a little digging on this forum and the world wide web I think I bought a genuine seamaster haha! I am curious as to the exact model and if it is maybe a frankenwatch. Regardless I'm pleased with the quality. Well, Omega's official numbers are 566.0087 and 766.0818 as shown in the picture of the inside of the caseback. That designates it as a woman's watch.

However, Omega Forum's official name for a watch with a dial redone in that color is "Mumbai Special". Where was the seller located?

@ulackfocus That caseback is a bit odd i.e. the brushing. But you don't think the dial is original? I'm not doubting you but Rolex has and still makes similar dials. I'm just curious for my own knowledge.

He is based out of Canada. He restores older watches. Am I wrong that it is a genuine watch?

Case back is fine - they are brushed like that on these cases. I currently see two styles of dial, and any with stick markers have OMEGA under the applied logo, and the automatic under that, with no Seamaster on the dial anywhere, or Seamaster written above 6. The only versions I see with OMEGA under the logo, and Seamaster and automatic above the 6 are with Roman numerals on the dial. Also none shown in purple for either case reference.

And just to be clear, it's not me...;)

Haha. So are we thinking this is real or a frankenwatch?

The dial has been repainted. That doesn't make it fake, it just means it never left the Omega factory looking like that. frankenwatch is generally when it's made up of parts from other watches, which doesn't apply to this.

Ah ok. That's what I was gleaning from what he wrote just wasn't 100% sure. I appreciate your help and everyone elses. I am still very pleased with purchase, it's in absolute pristine condition.
