If it had been more orange it would have been an easy pick.

I’ve heard it is the finest reptile skin- I’m not saying it is, but I’ve heard that..the best in the world.
I’ve known many reptiles, they love me- I even have reptiles as shoes and belts. I have several working for me at my hotels- but they say- I love this guy- he would never skin me. Covfefe

I think that I’m going to go with teju lizard as well. I have two watches with teju straps. Beautiful material and very, very durable.

They cut a better dash than Jeff G in his Prada. Maybe he will grow into it (sorry for the leather thread drift / normal watch strap service to be resumed shortly - or in about 14’’)

Thanks everyone! I am quite certain it is either Alligator lizard - looks a lot like those beautiful boots.

or the Teju - also a possibility. I knew nothing about these two species so this was a fun opportunity.

I also think that @Canuck and MBob need to get their eyes checked, and that @Omegafanman and @JwRosenthal are rascals.

Rows are not uniform and straight on the Teju lizard skin like your example, IMHO.



NFL footballs used pigskin, at one time...but now cowhide.
