Like the title says, can anyone tell me about the unusual logo on this watch .
I know about the case movement etc ,it’s the font of the logo that has me stumped.
I can’t find another one like it.
Also the age.
Thanks in advance.

If we simply stipulate that the dial was repainted at some time in the past, which seems likely, what is the remaining evidence connecting this to Rolex? Even the Tudor engraving on the movement is unconvincing and appears to be added crudely by hand.

Tudor was started circa 1940 give or take, movement is decade or more older, probably 19teens early 20’s.

Nah. Started in 1926 (hence the Tudor 1926 series 😉)

Exactly.
The simple explanation is that someone got an FHF 30 and engraved Tudor on it.
The Tudor Cal 59 didn't have the cap jewel plate on the escape wheel.

I doubt that there is any Rolex/Tudor connection at all.

Edit: It appears that the movement is an FHF 30-1 which was for a centre seconds application, you can see where the centre seconds wheel cock was previously fitted if you compare it to this example. Note that "Tudor" also seems to be crudely engraved and the escape has a cap jewel.
