Not sure it’s Omega but I like the look. Any ideas on the reference?

Must be a pretty high end reference considering provenance, the owner depicted here with the watch is Tiglath/l-Pileser III king of Assyria -, c. 795-727 BC, considered one of the most prominent Assyrian kings, according to my sources. This wrist shot was immortalized at his royal palace in Nirmud, near Niniveh, region of Mossul Iraq (aka Mesopotamia).

Other similar looking examples are found on various winged spirits and reliefs from the same era.

I asked my aunt where my late uncle had gotten it but she didn’t know.

So Rolex?

While Rolex is above my own budget, it’s a bit pedestrian for a king. The below would be more appropriate.

Speedmaster Tutankhamoon?

You’re confusing it with the Amoonhotep, a common mistake.

(I actually like the Egyptian motif Omegas from the early 80s.)

Proof that no matter how much money you have to spend, you can't buy good taste!
That thing is hideously ghastly, even Liberace would've thought all that sparkly shit was over the top!

Returning to OP's thread and question.

Please, please, it's Egyptian upper crust so they would wear Omega (although in that time period they were known as Gamma).
Model you ask?
Why, a solid gold Scarab, of course!
