Hello!
I was hoping for some help finding more information on this watch. It came from my grandmother and my mother would like to know if it's worth insuring or not. We have not opened the back up my mom is a little hesitant to do it right now.
We don't know much about it. The band looks like it was replaced at one point it says Speidel on the back of it. As well as "10k GF top caps 69 stainless steel bottom caps". No engravings on the watch back itself.

Thank you for any info you may have!

You would need to open to get the reference number inside and to see if gold or not

Even if gold. Women's models are not highly collectable.

The same design in a mens watch is valued. Womens. Not so much

I wouldn't bother to insure it, but it might already be covered if you have house insurance. Check what the policy covers

We actually found the make its a 1960s Turler solid 18k gold womans watch. With champagne dial and 4 diamonds. There is one for sale on eBay and its selling for a decent amount. Either way we plan now to have it appraised.

good to hear it was 18k gold, it definitely increases the price
