Hello everyone, I found this longines on sale from an old mister who collects watches. He is selling it cuz he already got another one. The thing is that the movement says “23za” but the model looks like a 23zs. O hace a video where o can see the movement. I want to know if its fake or if its worth to buy it.

Yes actually he says that he is selling it cheap cuz he knows thst the dial “shines” more thsn normal so he thinks it has been polished in the past. But he says he hasnt changed or done anything else

To be clear, the dial is completely repainted.

If you want your money's worth, move on. Most of the value in any vintage watch is in the dial. A repainted dial, as with this watch, significantly devalues the watch and makes it of no interest to a collector.
