Need help finding information on which reference this certificate, 4.5"X3.125", came with. I seem to remember that US distributor may have used a 4 digit model number in some catalogs, but cannot find anything about a 9050 on the Internet. The serial number on back, 12816187, indicates an early 1950's movement, so this could be a caliber 352RG or 354 automatic, 30T2RG if manual.

Any help determining which reference this came with would be greatly appreciated!

I don´t think that there is any 30 RG chronometer with such a high serial number - the highest I have observed is in the low 11 million range

Could be from a Constellation. My 2887-2 with Cal. 505 has the same certificate.

The 12.8 mil serial # range on my certificate leads me to believe it had to be a caliber 352RG or 354.

According to list of all Omega calibers below, caliber 505 was introduced in 1957.

I am still curious as to what reference "9050" would have been. Am I wrong or has anyone else seen catalogs which used a 4 digit model number for retailers?

Ten page Seamaster Chronometer booklet...last page refers to history of Omega in Olympic Games. Last sentence, "And again---the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki will be timed by Omega."

Not 100% sure inner/outer boxes that came with package are for a Seamaster.

Do note that most boxes from this period or a little later include Constellation on inside top printing. Also note that suede watch support panel has gold observatory symbol. Could the box be for an early 1950's Globemaster aka no name Constellation (note Constellation "star" on both inner and outer boxes...same way the early Globemasters were marked sans Constellation). Pure speculation.

If anyone can find advertising or other material to substantiate what watch came with box I would be very interested.

Either way, a pretty nice/fancy box set imho.

I think you are 100% correct. The symbols seal it for me.

However, please understand that for these watches, there was no "standard" box. I have a period ad that features a Globemaster in what looks to be a plain blue Omega box of the period:

In the end, it may be impossible to determine if the box and watch indicated in the warranty book were originally sold together.
