Hi guys. This is a watch my wife inherited from her grandmother. We don;t know anything about it though. Can anyone help us identify it (i.e. model, year, value)? Thanks!

It's a generic case from the 40's known often as "knotted lugs". The dial has been repainted at some point too. The value would be tied into the gold content since there isn't much collector value.

Actually this is the Anniversary Model.

With 12 diamonds known as the Anniversary "12", or with a plain bezel as the President Washington.

Typically found with either the caliber 22L or 8LN.
