Can someone help me identify this box? I posted pics in the ultimate box thread but didn’t receive any responses. Dimensions are a little over 5 1/2 inch long, 4 3/4 inch wide, 2 3/8 inch tall. Seems to be made of Bakelite. The box is marked underneath. Please see the photos. Thanks for any info!

Giorgio Becucci is the manufacturer and the V. Borgo 2 is the address for the company - there is a U.S. Patent from 1965 under this name but it is for a different box (United States Patent 3,390,809 "CONTAINER FOR JEWELS" Giorgio Becucci, Via Del Borgo 2, Bologna, Italy Filed Oct. 21, 1965, Serial No. 506,143). This Omega Box appears to be an ABS polymer plastic (so post 1946 ) and not a bakelite or catlin plastic. I'm sorry I can't do much more than that - and you may already have this information. It may not have a US Patent and instead hold patent rights elsewhere.

Learned a lot about this box so far, hoping to find what box goes inside alone with the piece ;)

Looks like a pretty standard outer box, which you tend not to see.

I personally haven’t seen one made out of plastic like this, mainly out of cardboard
