Very helpful response.

Have you spent any time going through old posts and seen how many lazy people log on with one post and ask this type of question?

Guys, you catch a lot more files with honey than with vinegar.

To the OP, it's almost impossible to tell you anything about your watch from a tiny, out of focus picture like that.

It's a 1970's Omega Seamaster, that's all we can say.

I've looked through the omega website archive, that's why I'm asking here.
Usual group of passive aggressive smug forum cunts/assholes/accountants I see.

That goes for you too, dickhead.

Flattery will get you nowhere.

Have you managed to open the back of the watch to find the model number, once there you can also find the caliber number that is interesting to research. The serial number of the movement will also allow you to date your watch to within a year or so of production.

But I sense you don't like taking advice from people so I'll just leave you to your trolling.

Read the link posted that is also a helpful sticky in the thread you posted. It explains what we need and why we need some more info to assist you.

The reason you have some pushback is that a lot of people come here expecting us to provide hard won knowledge and they never come back or contribute to the community.

....and how dare you imply that I'm an accountant!

yeah steady on mate
there are some of us smug cunts and arseholes (correct spelling - we in the home country are also pedants) who have equally derision-worthy professions -no need to single out accountants for your favouritism

we also have extremely thick skins -so if you play nicely and ask some question after doing a bit of homework you'll get all the help you need

· Buy watch at car boot sale
· Register as noob on website where strange folk talk about watches all day long
· Expect them to go to the trouble of giving you chapter and verse which you can copy verbatim for your ebay listing or better still craftily sell watch here thus saving fees
· Get told to do one
· React like a petulant child using big and clever shouty swearing thus ensuring no information is forthcoming

Win win all round. Did I miss anything? Oh yes:

· Sulk and strop off to TZ or similar where the pattern repeats.

Hi,
Please could someone assist with identifying this model, thanks!
It's an Omega Seamaster Automatic. It's right there on the dial dumbass. 😝
And yes I can be an asshole, but only when I'm accused of being an accountant.

Unfortunately @sydneybuy101 , you may have burned all your bridges here. If you had bothered to read the stickies on how the forum members could help you, along with what information you had discovered in your own research, you would have had members here posting a plethora of data on your watch. @gatorcpa has decades worth of experience in Omega vintage watches, along with @efauser and @JimInOz. I'm a fledgling newcomer here on the forums, and folks such as @Archer and @Maximus84 were more than happy to help me out with my questions and concerns, but I had to make the effort to GIVE them information so they could help me.

BTW, are you related to a certain person who was banned for a month who wrote:

"Yes I was in a rush yesterday, yes it would have made sense to have your instructions written so that they are instructions not love letter to users which needs to be read top to bottom. But fυck me what a bunch of nasty, foul mouth, vicious cunts this friendly forum is."

All the Best.

His last appearance on here was seven minutes after his final post. So he's probably not getting any of the friendly advice.

Just for the record, I think that watch is a 1012.
