Help identifying watch please?

I received a small collection of watches I’m trying to identify and this Omega 21 Electra has me stumped. I cannot find any like it online. Has anyone seen one like it? It’s not been worn for more than 15 years, but in handling it this morning the second hand started moving. Any insight on it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Interesting. I guess I’ll have to take them all into someone and have them evaluated.

Well, maybe the diamonds are real😀

Even if they were (and they wont be) they would be worth a few bucks/quid at most.

I would agree. I ‘clearly’ see the Ornega now. My husband would only have bought genuine items from reputable dealers, so this must have been a gift from one of the two short term wives before me - we had 30 years together. Too bad I can’t hear the real story about it now - and it makes sense why I never saw him wear it. Lolol

He purchased the Tissot, Chase Durer, Eddie Bauer, and Hublot during our marriage so I’m positive they are authentic. This one tho… nope! I’m sure it must have been a gift from a previous wife. I would never have done that to him.

Well, don't hesitate to post photos of the others. Members of the forum have interests that go far beyond Omega.

Are you talking about the wives? Or watches? 🤔

Unbreakable mainspring?

If you mail the watch to me, I have a 5lb lump hammer that will prove otherwise 😁

heh relatively speaking. Less than before, more than now. Those steel mainsprings would snap quite often. Alloy, not so much. Nowadays, very rare.

It's actually not exactly a fake. It's labeled as an Orniqa, and if it is swiss made, then it's fully legit...

Not quite as rare as you might think. I see broken alloy mainsprings pretty regularly.

Self-selecting sample? 😁 but I take your point.

Sure if you want to say rare as a watch owner, that would be true. But rare overall, not so much. 👍
