Help Identifying Vintage watch

My dear friends

I hope you can assist me with an old quest.

I have spent many years trying to identify the watch in the attached photos. I think the photos were taken in the 1950s. I was only recently able to superimpose them.

It looks to me that the watch is an Omega of some sort (see applied logo which resembles a Ω). I’m fairly certain it’s a seamaster or constellation, but I am an amateur. Although the photos are in black and white, I suspect it would be a gold watch.

If there are any tell-tale give away that it is an Omega and if so what model I will be eternally grateful.

Hi mate. Welcome to OF 😀

Are the photos from the same event? The second one I am sure is a ref. 2849, you csn make out the 'Seamaster Calendar' and the date window. Lovely lugs as well.

The first one looks to be a different watch? Unless it is a question of the angle.

Best.

Second one is definitely a 2849 Seamaster Calendar the beefy lugs and two rows of text are quite distinctive, its a nice watch. The first one I don’t know if it even is an Omega, the lugs could be from some era of Omega but it could just as likely or more so be anything else.

The photos are not great but there might be some sort of pie pan dial on the first watch.
It’s hard to tell but it might be a 2852, something like that

Same strap, which suggests the same watch -- but not necessarily.

I picked this Omega up today- I believe its from 1968 and is cal 861. Any suggestions on who is good to restore vintage omega in the USA, and does anyone have a spare end link for this band.
Thanks in advance!
Nah looks too big to be the one on the OPs photo.

Thank you so much gentlemen!

Indeed it does look like they are different watches (with one being a pie pan), but the same strap always confused me.

So it looks like I am in the market for a 2849! Once acquired I will post pictures.

Again, many thanks, this really meant a lot.

Why? Could you tell a bit more about the pictures?

More like a Masonic ritual.
I am thinking it could be Ray Milland......The Man With X-Ray Eyes

Good luck finding your 2849.
