Wondering if anyone can help me identify the year and model of this watch that was passed down to me.
Also, an approximate value.

I had the watch repaired and it was working, then went into the drawer for years and no longer works.

Probably mid to late 1940s. Poorly refinished dial hurts value considerably. Identifying information will be marked inside the case back and on the movement.

Model is inside the caseback, value is very little as the dial has been very badly refinished - looks like it was handpainted. Redialed watches have basically zero collector value. Maybe $200-300 if you sold it on ebay would be my guess, but that is only my opinion.

I also think the value of this watch on ebay will be near 200 Euro. The redial is not atractive for collectors.. I asume theat maybe several watchamkers will be interested for the parts of the mechanism. Maybe it's better to keep it and enjoy it as it is.

Thank you! Question...are you saying the surface with the numbers on it has been repainted? And then the numbers have been reprinted over the new paint? Didn't know that was a thing.

Exactly. And unfortunately collectors don't like that
