Help Identifying Vintage Omega…1944?

Hello, I found this vintage Omega watch in a box with some other mis. junk. I have looked around on the internet for information, but with no luck locating the same watch. The watch itself is a manual wind, with a sweeping second hand. If I had to guess I'm thinking early 40's military. The closest watch I have seen with the similar dial is a Martin watch. Here Is a picture of the Omega in question and the Martin watch. Thank you very much!!

The other is by Marvin, by the way.

Yours is probably powered by the cal. 30T2 movement and probably dates from the mid-40s. You can take it to a jeweler or watchmaker to remove the case back (these are tight-fitting and can be difficult to remove for the inexperienced), and the case reference will be stamped on the inner case back. It looks to be in very nice original condition (down to the crown) and should be relatively easy to have serviced.

Looks like a manual wind omega from the 1940s - not military. Used to own a similar one years ago:

Sorry, meant to say Marvin, the joy of auto correct. Value? Couple hundred? I may keep it as a beat around watch. I have a beautiful vintage LED Omega that I would love to keep in the case. Also thank you all, for the information.

Probably a little more than a couple of hundred, but do have it serviced if you intend to wear it regularly.

$400-600? So to have it serviced a basic jeweler could do the work, or should I ship it to Omega? What would be a fair value for service? Sorry for the lack of watch knowledge. I'm just getting into the hobby.

Omega will charge somewhere around $1,000 to rebuild the watch. They will likely want to change the dial and hands at extra cost on top of this. That's about double the market value, maybe a bit more.

Any competent watchmaker (not a jeweler) should be able to service this watch. Some jewelers may have a certified watchmaker on staff, if so, make sure you personally meet with them to let them know what you do and don't want done to the watch. You do not want to touch the dial or case on this watch, it is in very nice original condition. Collectors love this.

The 30mm movements were common enough that plenty of spare parts should be around...for now.
