    Hi! My grandad owned this omega watch and we need some help figuring out which model this watch is and if it is real (we are aware that through a picture is hard to know that but some expert opinion would be appreciated). Thank you for your help in avancea!

    Looks like maybe a cal 344, in a solid gold gold case, a ref. 2766 perhaps, certainly 1950's. Do you have more pictures? The condition is very good, a nice sharp case and clean dial.

    I also think it's a 2766 with the hammer automatic caliber 344 inside. It's a rather large watch for its time (around 35.5-36mm I think) and the solid gold case (note the hallmark on the underside of a lug) with the applied gold indexes make it even nicer.

    I have the steel version and I love it.
