Help identifying this vintage Omega and estimating its value

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help identifying this vintage Omega and getting a rough estimate of its value.

The case back hasn’t been opened yet, so I don’t know the reference or caliber. The only known issue is that the crown is missing and will need to be replaced.

Based on these photos, can anyone identify the model/reference and provide an approximate value in its current condition?

I haven't seen a movement, could be absent.......... could be someone placed a quartz movt. in there......could be rusted tight.

Opinion as it sits? I would seek another watch.

i think the movement is a 26.5 SOb. Still i need to open the watch and see the current state. It’s an old watch from my family that i have found. I’m deciding if it shall be adjusted and then sold or rather just don’t spend any effort on it…

Tag it with its' provenance in the family and display it. No reason to add money to this family item unless you plan to wear it. Expect to spend $1000 USD and then be happy when it stops at $900.

If planning to sell, sell as is
