Does one of the Speedmaster Experts here recognize which model reference this bezel insert is for?

This is not an Omega bezel that I am aware of. I would assume that it is a recreation of the black Pulsometer bezel offered for the Speedmaster, but mimicking the style of the early metallic base 1000 tachymetre bezels.

 

At 31.9mm diameter it sure ain't a Speedmaster bezel.

BTW, this bit came out of an unbranded box full of identical ones I acquired almost 40 years ago within a lot from a retired watchmaker. Since then, every now and again, I've tried to identify what brand it might be from. Now I can cross Omega off the "list of candidates"

Is this a bezel or a chapter ring? A photo of the underside might help narrow it down
