I bought this watch on Ebay and I'm trying to figure out its origin. The movement dates back to around 1947, but I'm unsure if the dial is original to the watch. I can't seem to match it with dials of that period. I believe the case to be 35mm or so. Obviously the strap doesn't belong. Any help would be appreciated.

    Wait for the real experts.

But a quick scan shows that the case and the movement (370) seem to be in line with other 2530-3 google results, the dial and hands are aftermarket "enhancements".

    GeorgieBoy58,

Thanks for the intel, I was suspicious about the hands, felt they were kind of fancy.

What makes you say the dial is after market?
