Help identifying omega seamaster deville

Hi, I am new here, I joined because my dad gave me a watch, he bought it during 1966-1967. I have tried searching the internet for pictures of seamaster deville pictures and honestly I found nothing like it. The 2 things I observed are:

1) the crown seems wrong, does not have the omega logo
2) the hands all seem wrong... Most pics I see are squarish hands but this one is triangular.

I am not sure if it's a fake, but I would love to hear the opinions of the experts here before spending anything to restore it, thanks!

First, the case is not a seamaster deville. As far as I know all seamaster deville and seamaster pre deville are monocoque cases with thinner lugs than yours. I suspect at some moment your case recieved that deville dial(which seems repainted to me) crown is generic replacement. Not sure about the hands. One photo of inside the caseback will help us precisely determining what is wrong with this piece.

Hello, its not fake but i think it has some issues.Seeing the lugs and the case design i think its a 135.005 with 600 movement. This ref has not the letters “de ville”on the dial so maybe its been swapped from another watch.Keep it mind that it is 33mm.the crown as you mentioned its wrong and the dial has some ageing spots.Give it a service and where it proudly !!

...Keep searching and you will find better examples .patient is the key 😀 .

OP stated that the watch is from his father.

I don’t think that the watch needs “restoration”, just a service by a reputable watch maker. The crown can be replaced during service if needed (I don’t know if it is correct or not). Let us know whereabouts you are if you need a recommendation for a watchmaker in your area
