    Hi all,

I need some help identifying a Planet Ocean - does anyone know what model ref this might be? It was apparently made in 2006 according to the seller via serial number.

    Many thanks

It can be one of the following depending on the size and if it originally came on a bracelet or strap.

    2200.50 - 45.5mm on a bracelet
    2201.50 - 42.0mm on a bracelet
    2900.50.81 - 45.5mm on a black rubber strap
    2900.50.91 - 45.5mm on a black ridged rubber strap
    2901.50.81 - 42.0mm on a black rubber strap
    2901.50.91 - 42.0mm on a black ridged rubber strap

Based on the strap, the one in the picture is probably either a 2900.50.81 or 2901.50.81

Thank you!!! It’s certainly the 290.50.81 because it is 42mm. Do you happen to know the value of said watch?

Around 2500$ and upwards with box and papers, metal or rubber also impact the price. Put the reference number into the Chrono24 search and subtract around 10% of the prices if its a F2F transaciton... Chrono24 takes 6.5% and paypal also takes a fee if paid so.

I'm not convinced the watch is genuine.

The watch on your photo is 45.5mm. It has a rubber strap from the newer model - 8500 Planet Ocean, can't tell is it the original strap.
I am not necessary convinced is it original bezel insert.
    Do you have more photos?

Is it not this watch? Is there issue with this? According to dealer just been serviced by omega, with proof of service totalling $1157 nzd ( $695 usd)
Two more photos - I don’t know what they mean, but looks like pressure/waterproofing testing?

Looks genuine to me, but I don't think they came with that rubber strap. It looks like a strap from the 8500 caliber planet ocean

It’s such a gorgeous watch. If I can obtain it, it’ll be my first luxury watch. I’ve never considered spending this much - but can’t afford new - and to have a genuine recently serviced Planet Ocean would be incredible.

Look forward to more opinions - thanks

It looks 100% genuine to me, I have the same model. The later strap is fitted because you cannot get the earlier version any more, in fact the newer strap is far better quality than the original.

Pretty sure you can still get the original rubber strap, ordered mine though my local AD only 12months ago?
