Help identifying a VENUS movement

So what should I do? Should I stick with my Venus movement or hunt an Omega 35.5 st1?
Leave it. Enjoy it. Who knows when the movement appeared in it. Could have been done while still in service. Have you even confirmed what another had? If so was that even from the factory.

I would look for a more suitable period movement, either the Omega 35.5 st1 or one of the 1928 German pattern pilot watches.
