Valjoux? It's marked under the balance.

Ed: It's a Valjoux 92, 13'''.

What it says on the tin . . . any ideas?

Confirmation of Valjoux 92.

The Import code on the balance cock should be LBA for Ollech and Wajs, but I can't see it clearly

I have seen these before, I think they have pin-lever movements. I don't think you should have to hold the bottom button in for the chrono to run.

I may be horribly wrong but isn't this some sort of Lapanouse or Lapanouse derivate? The "very cheap" made me think that. The scale also rings classic Lapanouse chrono, granted I have only seen them in their classic two register layout, one between 6-8 and one between 10-12.
Edit: Lucerne is known to have used such movements.

Maybe. I was thinking some sort of EB. It would be interesting to see the movement.

Since @pseikotick told us it is not a Lapanouse, I'm thinking EB as well. EB 8816 maybe?

Valjoux, Lapanouse, EB 😵‍💫

Have we crossed threads somewhere?

Or am I getting cabin fever?

@Dan S @ZIELSZIEK @pseikotick

It looks like @pseikotick may have deleted his posts. He had posted a photo of a Lucerne chronograph and asked about the movement. I don't know why it was piggy-backing on this thread, and why it disappeared. Apologies.

👍

So he's the one with cabin fever, not me.

Phew.

I'm next in order for an apology. Just like Dan S said, comments were deleted making this look like we answered to the op. Should I delete my comments as well?

No, it's water under the bridge. No biggies.
